How can we help?

Download the installer from the Download page, open it and follow the steps. On macOS, drag the app to Applications. The WaveStash Sync plugin comes with it, no separate download: to use it, install it from the app's Plugins screen.

Only to create your account, sign in and activate your license for the first time on each computer. After that, your library works offline.

macOS and Windows. The list of versions is on the Download page.

The first time, macOS asks you to confirm apps downloaded outside the App Store. Try opening the app once, go to System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll to the WaveStash notice and click Open Anyway. After that it opens normally.

Then ask your DAW to scan for plugins again: in Ableton, Preferences › Plug-Ins › Rescan; in FL Studio, Options › Manage plugins › Find plugins; in Logic, Plug-In Manager. It shows up as WaveStash Sync among the instruments: put it on a MIDI track. If it still doesn't, check that your DAW reads the default VST3 or AU folders.

Open WaveStash on the same computer, or use the plugin's Open WaveStash button. The connection is local and happens on its own.

In My account, release the old computer and sign in to the app on the new one.

Yes. Your license gets every version 1 update at no extra cost. In Settings › Check for updates, the app downloads and installs the new version. The WaveStash Sync plugin updates from the Plugins screen, no new app needed.
